Food was really good and well priced. The staff was attentive and helpful and it didn't take long at all to get in and out even though they were fairly busy.

Never disappointed with my order! I've tried a couple other sushi places around the waukesha/Milwaukee area but I always end up driving the 20 minutes to Kyoto because it's just on another level. Especially right now, they have a very efficient pick up system for take out. Fast and efficient!

Small place but because of location, never seems like we have to wait. Staff is pleasanr and courteous. Prices are very reasonable. They have several deals e throughout the week. Portions are fair. Food has always been tasty. The location is a mini mall storefront.

Kyoto is always excellent, from the kitchen hot dishes to the perfection of the sushi. The Kyoto Maki was crazy delicious! Already anticipating our next meal at Kyoto!!!

Horrible service they charged my card and said they didn't get it even though it came out of my account.. They wanted me to pay again... NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!!!! Fujiyamas sushi is better anyways....

Try the fruit roll. Worth it. Nice big place with sumptuous plates and very varied sushi options. Service is good and overall a nice joint.

Had been to Kyoto at least 20 times. Ordered today and all of the rolls ordered were extremely small. They did taste great but alot smaller than what they were prior to the "Covid epidemic". $13 for a roll and only received 6 little pieces was very very disappointing. It is not the time to do this to loyal customers. Will not be returning.

Awesome, fresh all you can eat sushi!!! I love the choices of 6- and 8-piece rolls. My favorite sushi has a pale green, soy paper wrapping. It is called the Triple Tree Maki, but my hubby and ate so many different rolls and a la crate. Everything was scrumptious and relaxing!!!

Roll was good.. the seafood salad wasnt what expected. The hot sake is always good

Honestly some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. Shumai and Dragons eggs are delicious. I look forward to going back.

I took my sister for the all you can eat Sushi! They were very busy but made sure we had everything we needed! The waitress was great and so was the food! Well worth the price! We are definitely going back!

Went for all you can eat and it was outstanding! It was busy when we went but we were still seated and served very quickly. The prices and quality of food were both excellent! I would absolutely recommend this place to any sushi lover.

Had an amazing first experience at Kyoto! We got seated super quickly for a party of seven, the staff is friendly and provided a great service! Food was delicious!!! There was nothing that we ordered that we didn’t like! Food was definitely freshly made. I do recommend this place! We will definitely visiting again soon!

If you love sushi this is the place for you! If you've never had sushi before then this is a great place to try! They offer all you can eat sushi Sunday - Tuesday for $25 per person. This is a great way to try a little bit of everything and it all tastes amazing!

This is a place you gotta try if you like sushi. Staff is friendly and attentive. The sushi chefs are creative and the food is fresh. We have had the salmon teriyaki, as well, prepared nicely and not over cooked. The oyster shot are delightful and prices are not over the top.

Wonderful place, will definitely be going again! Inside was a really nice environment where everything was very professional. The staff were nice and helpful, we did go at a busy time so we didn't see that much of our waiter but that's understandable because the place was packed. The sushi there was some of the best sushi I had for not a bad price! It was incredibly delicious and I'll definitely be thinking about it until I go again haha. Definite should stop in and try it out sometime!

It's great! On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, you can get all you can eat for $25 bucks. The sushi, and maki, and rolls, etc... Are delicious and high quality. There's a bar you can sit at where you can watch people making the sushi too! If I could, I would rate the place 20/10!

I drive from Racine to Kyoto because they have the best sushi!! And the chicken fried rice is amazing !! And the staff is always friendly!!

This place. Kyoto is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant, they have been around for years, I started going in high school, there is another Japanese restaurant 2 blocks away, but this one quickly stuck out as far superior. The food here is incredible, dine in or carry out, I've never once had a less then 5 star experience here. The sushi is great, the tempura is great, everything is great. I've never tried the desserts though, I'm not much of a dessert guy. The worst thing about this place is that they are always packed, because everyone knows how great they are and the space inside isnt huge, but I wouldn't change it at all!

I tried this place 5 years ago for sushi and it wasn't bad but wasn't the best experience ever so I never went back until a couple weeks ago I decided to give it another try. For some reason, I thought they only had sushi but I was wrong. I tried the general tso chicken and it was BOMB! I have now gone 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The lo mein is also really good.

Good sushi. The fish was fresh and tasty. However The slices where thin and the Temperature was not as cool as I prefer. The rice was average as we'll. Even so the quality of the fish made my overall experience positive. I would recommend this place for casual sushi fans. You won't be disappointed.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant! Excellent food. Ordered the triple maki roll...VERY delicious...and the volcano roll. If you visit this spot gotta try the oyster shooters here. Best I've ever had! Always a hot spot and most of the time very busy. Only suggestion would be for them to expand or open another spot. Will always be 5 stars!

Typically this place is great, food is fantastic. However, tonight when i placed an order and payed online it said 130 min to be ready. I was unable to call and cancel. It took 2hrs to have my order ready. At least 8 other people were outside waiting for their order. Another customer ordered $200 worth of food and wanted to cancel the order because he didn't want to wait 2 hours and he was told he was unable to. Extremely poor service, many angry customers

Best sushi that I know of in Milwaukee, the all-you-can-eat special is the reason to go. Remember, any pieces of roll you leave uneaten, you will be charged for. Strict, but I understand and like it.

Went on Mother's day, had to order on-line - they would not answer phone/ 100 minute waiting period - after 30 min , we missed a call, no message or text. waiting close to 100 min. we go in and they told us they are out of the red snapper and we order whole bunch of other stuff so they did not put the order in , so it would be another 100 minutes. So we canceled . After you order on line and give credit card info than it tells you how long , if you can't wait you are screwed. The food is awesome there , but I will never go there again! Real bad customer service. They should of left a message or text .Not a happy customer at all!!

Love this place. My girlfriend and I try to go at least every 2 months. All you can eat sushi for 25 bucks. Can't beat that. And the sushi is amazing. As well as the appitizers

The sushi is very good! However, I was displeased with the poor poor customer service. The host who was a cashier was extremely rude. I try not to play the race card but I really felt discriminated against. He overlooked me twice and allowed other customers to get ahead of me. He was very impatient when I was asking him questions about certain items on the menu. A waitress came to the front desk and when I asked her a question about an item on the menu she did she did not know... 😮... I sat and watched while I wired for me order the same hostess and cashier greet other customers politely and right away.. he did not do that for me. Despite his rudeness, I kept cool and still thanked him.

Always a good choice - it's all good here. Great selection of vegetarian options. All you an eat day is crazy good deal if can eat that much. There were times I got it for the sheer variety and they kindly remind me when I'm not getting my money's worth and need to order more.

I love the all you can can sushi. They never fail me. It does get pretty busy though so make sure you come early.

Finally got out of my neighborhood and found this gem. I ordered 3 rolls and sashimi and everything was fantastic. You will see real chunks of lobster in your lobster roll. Their process for takeout due to COVID was easy and controlled. Will definitely come back.

I enjoyed myself at Kyoto. We got the lunch roll special. I had 2 rolls of sushi that came with a small salad and miso soup. ALL of it was very flavorful. I love the ginger house salad dressing as well as the flavor of the ginger root. I kept my rolls vegetarian with one being an avocado roll, and the other a cucumber asparagus roll. I also had a bite of the spicy shrimp avocado roll (very mild spice). The service was great. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing at the same time. I will definitely be back.

Kyoto would have gotten 5 stars from my if the Sushi would have been colder and the waitress would have been warmer. That aside, the food was pretty good. Also, the bench seat at our booth was in need of reupholstering. If I'm going to pay a little more than the average place, I do expect details like these to not be overlooked.
